These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of www.solarheartlightreiki.com and your purchase or use of services offered by [Legal Business Name], operated by Anita Casale (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing this website, requesting or booking an appointment, purchasing a package or gift certificate, or participating in a service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms.
1. Services
We may offer services including:
In-person and remote Reiki sessions
Individual and creative leadership coaching
Tarot or oracle card readings
Group sessions, classes and workshops
Packages, gift certificates and related wellness or spiritual offerings
Services may change over time. Current descriptions, durations and prices are displayed on the website or booking page.
2. Complementary Wellness Disclaimer
Reiki is a complementary wellness practice that supports relaxation and overall well-being. It is not a substitute for licensed medical, psychological or mental health care.
Reiki and other wellness services offered through this business do not diagnose, treat, prevent or cure diseases, injuries or mental health conditions. No statement made on this website or during a session should be interpreted as medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
Always seek the guidance of an appropriately licensed healthcare professional regarding a medical or mental health concern. Do not disregard, delay or discontinue professional care because of information received through this website or a session.
If you are experiencing an emergency or believe you may harm yourself or someone else, contact 911 or the appropriate emergency service in your location.
3. Coaching Disclaimer
Coaching is an educational and supportive process intended to help clients explore goals, perspectives, creativity, leadership and personal development.
Coaching is not psychotherapy, counseling, medical care, legal advice, financial advice or another licensed professional service. Coaching does not guarantee a particular personal, professional, financial or organizational result. You remain responsible for your choices, decisions and actions.
4. Tarot and Oracle Reading Disclaimer
Tarot and oracle readings are offered for personal reflection, spiritual exploration and entertainment. Readings are interpretive and do not predict or guarantee future events.
Readings are not a substitute for medical, psychological, legal, financial or other licensed professional advice. You remain solely responsible for how you interpret or act on information discussed during a reading.
We reserve the right to decline questions or topics that would be inappropriate, harmful or better addressed by a licensed professional.
5. Client Responsibility and Results
Individual experiences vary. We do not promise or guarantee specific physical, emotional, spiritual, personal, professional or financial outcomes.
By participating in a service, you agree to:
Provide accurate and relevant information;
Communicate any discomfort, concern or accessibility need;
Seek appropriate professional care when needed;
Make your own informed decisions; and
Accept responsibility for your participation, choices and results.
Testimonials represent the individual experiences of the people who provided them and do not guarantee that you will experience the same outcome.
6. Eligibility and Minors
You must be at least 18 years old to independently purchase or book services.
Services for a person under 18 require advance approval and the informed consent of a parent or legal guardian. A parent or legal guardian may also be required to attend or remain available during the session.
7. Scheduling and Appointment Requests
Appointments are scheduled through Acuity Scheduling or another booking method identified on the website.
Submitting an appointment request does not by itself guarantee or confirm the appointment. After submitting a request, you will receive payment instructions. Unless otherwise stated, payment must be received within two hours to hold the requested appointment.
After payment is verified, you will receive a separate confirmation email. If payment is not received within the stated period, the appointment request may be canceled and the time released to another client.
You are responsible for providing a correct email address and checking your inbox and spam folder for scheduling and payment communications.
8. Payment
Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.
Payments are currently accepted through Venmo or another payment method identified during booking. Venmo is an independent third-party service governed by its own terms and privacy practices.
When submitting payment, include only the requested identifying information. Do not include sensitive health or personal information in the Venmo transaction note.
We are not responsible for fees charged by your financial institution, mobile carrier, currency-conversion provider or payment platform.
9. Cancellations, Rescheduling and No-Shows
Please provide at least [24 or 48] hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Appointments canceled or rescheduled with the required notice may be moved to another available time. Appointments canceled with less than the required notice, missed without notice or attended too late to complete the service may be charged in full or deducted from a prepaid package.
If we need to cancel an appointment, you may reschedule or receive a refund for the canceled service.
Emergencies and exceptional circumstances may be considered individually, but exceptions are not guaranteed.
10. Late Arrivals
If you arrive late, the session may still end at the originally scheduled time so that other appointments are not affected. The full session fee will remain due.
If your delay makes it impractical to conduct the session, the appointment may be treated as a late cancellation.
11. Remote Sessions
Remote sessions may be delivered by telephone, Zoom, Google Meet or another agreed method. You are responsible for having:
A suitable device and reliable internet or telephone connection;
A private and safe location;
Correct time-zone information; and
Any technology needed to participate.
A session affected by a technical problem on your side may be shortened or rescheduled at our discretion. If a significant technical problem originates on our side, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the affected portion.
Clients participating from outside Oregon or outside the United States are responsible for determining whether the service is permitted and appropriate in their location.
12. Packages
Session packages are intended for one client and are nontransferable unless we approve otherwise in writing.
Packages:
Must be paid in full before use;
May be used only for the service and duration identified;
Cannot be combined with other offers unless stated;
Are subject to the standard cancellation policy; and
Must be scheduled within [six months] of purchase, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
A session canceled late or missed without notice may be deducted from the package.
Package discounts have no separate cash value. Any refund, expiration or unused-value treatment will be handled in accordance with the package description and applicable law.
13. Gift Certificates
Gift certificates may be used only for eligible services and are not reloadable or redeemable for additional gift certificates.
Gift certificates will not be reduced by inactivity or maintenance fees. Expiration, redemption and treatment of remaining balances will comply with applicable Oregon and federal law.
Under Oregon law, most full-value gift certificates may not expire. After at least one purchase, a remaining balance below $5 may be redeemable for cash where required by law.
Lost or stolen gift certificates may be replaced only if the purchaser or recipient provides sufficient proof of purchase and the remaining value can be verified.
14. Refunds
Completed sessions are nonrefundable.
Unless otherwise required by law:
Refunds are not provided because a client did not experience a desired result;
Late cancellations and no-shows are nonrefundable;
Approved refunds will be returned using a mutually agreed method; and
Processing or third-party fees that cannot be recovered may be deducted where legally permitted.
Nothing in these Terms limits any refund or consumer right that cannot legally be waived.
15. Intake Forms and Agreements
You may be required to complete an intake form and acknowledge applicable disclosures before participating.
Please provide accurate information that is reasonably relevant to the service. Do not submit highly sensitive medical records, financial account information, passwords, government identification numbers or other information we have not specifically requested.
We may decline or discontinue a service when it appears outside our scope, presents a safety concern or would be more appropriately handled by a licensed professional.
16. Communications
By booking a service, you agree to receive transactional communications concerning your request, payment, appointment, reminders, rescheduling and follow-up.
Transactional communications are not marketing messages.
You will receive promotional emails only when you subscribe or otherwise agree to receive them. You may unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time. Unsubscribing from marketing will not prevent necessary appointment-related communications.
17. Intellectual Property
The website and its original content—including text, graphics, photographs, recordings, exercises, worksheets, course materials, branding and downloadable resources—are owned by or licensed to [Legal Business Name] and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may use purchased or provided materials only for your personal, noncommercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, record, distribute, resell, publish, teach from or commercially exploit them without prior written permission.
You may not record a private or group session without the advance consent of everyone involved.
18. Respectful Participation
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service because of harassment, threats, discrimination, unsafe conduct, intoxication, inappropriate sexual behavior, repeated policy violations or conduct that interferes with another person’s safety or experience.
When appropriate, any refund will be determined based on the circumstances and applicable law.
19. Third-Party Services and Links
The website may use or link to third-party services such as Squarespace, Acuity Scheduling, Venmo, video-conferencing platforms, email providers and social networks.
We do not control these third parties and are not responsible for their availability, security, content or independent privacy practices. Your use of a third-party service is also governed by that provider’s terms.
20. Website Information
We make reasonable efforts to keep website information accurate and current, but errors or omissions may occur. We may update service descriptions, availability and pricing at any time.
A price change will not affect an appointment or package already paid for unless the client agrees otherwise or correction is required because of an obvious error.
21. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website, content and services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties or guarantees of any particular outcome.
We do not guarantee that the website or a third-party scheduling, payment or communication system will always be uninterrupted, secure or error-free.
22. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, [Legal Business Name] and Anita [Last Name] will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the website or services.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, total liability for a claim relating to a purchased service will not exceed the amount you paid for the service giving rise to that claim.

23. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
